Facebook's newest facelift will emphasise photos

FACEBOOK is redesigning the profile pages of its 500 million users to make it more of a reflection of their real lives, it says.
Facebook said in a blog post today the changes are meant to make it easier for users to tell their story — who they are, where they work and who the important people in their lives are.

It also said the redesign would emphasise one of the site's most popular features — photos.

The changes include a new bio section that includes not just who you are and where you live but a set of the most recent photos that your friends have "tagged" you in.

You can see a preview of the new profile pages at www.facebook.com/about/profile.
